Before the end of time, the church of the "firstborn" will be taken out from the earth. The church of the firstborn includes everyone born again of the Spirit of God, the children of the Spirit we call God, or simply the children of God. The born-again children of God will be the firstborn in the kingdom of heaven, united with Christ Jesus in glory as one body wedded forever. We are in those last days and before the rapture.

• ...For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:21-24.

Of course, a lot of people left behind will come to believe. They missed the rapture and must persevere until the end, enduring much more harrowing times than these as the enemy will be in control and most people left behind are the enemy's servants.
