The Gospel (Good News) of salvation.

Is the Word of God written?

Yes. The Word of God is written in the King James Bible (the "Bible"). Other "versions" changed it and cannot be reconciled using the words written in them. The New Testament is the current covenant; the other one is the Old Testament (not the current covenant of salvation).

As to Jesus, recall His spirit (truth) is the Word is God (see John 1:1).

  • And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14.

The Word is NOT the flesh of Jesus. Remember, the Word is the spirit (truth) of the man named Jesus and also part of the Spirit of God, and of His Father. The phrase "the Word was made flesh" means it was given a "flesh suit", a husk, a servant body to dwell in. We know the body (flesh) of Jesus died on the cross, but God never dies. Any reference or teaching that says God died must be understood in the proper context, because God is the Holy Spirit, and no aspect of Him ever dies.

Jesus was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Ghost (Spirit of Truth).  witnessed the truth of the Father's Word in power by the faith of Jesus.

Please note that many people are quick to replace “the Word” with “the Son” in 1 John 5:7:

  • For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5:7.

They rely on Matthew 28:19 which says:

  • Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost...

An understanding of the relationship between the Word and the Son is required before anyone can make that substitution.

Is Jesus God because He is the Word?

Yes. He is the Word of God as God before He was born a manchild named Jesus.

The Word is God as the Father's "offspring", the Father's servant. BOTH, the Word and Jesus are the beloved son of the Father. That's why Jesus is the son of God and the son of man as He often called Himself.

Jesus is the only way to the only true Father, God.

  • Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6.
  • No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. John 6:44-45.

The Word of God is written in the King James Bible.

The Bible is, without a doubt, the King James Bible. Furthermore, despite what so many for-profit publishing companies would have you believe and the numerous faulty references to the King James Bible as a "version" as if the Word of God has many variants from which we can pick and choose, the King James Bible and New Testament are NOT a "version."

Without a doubt, the King James Bible IS the Bible, and all other "versions" are man's creation that cannot be reconciled by the words they contain. From the moment the King James Bible was published in 1611, the enemy began working on men to change it, and today we see the disastrous result. People and publishers have changed the Word to make money selling copyrighted books and religious media materials to cash in on religion, and in doing so, they have separated man from the Father.

  • For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:17.

This fact should cause great concern if you want the truth, simply because all other versions changed the wording to remove the direct references to the Holy Ghost (the Spirit of Truth), as if that were a good thing. Logic alone says that's foolish!

  • Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Matthew 23:15.

By comparison to the original scriptures translated into the English language.

Proof: "The English Hexapla" of the New Testament was originally published by Samuel Bagster and Son, England, in 1841. The English Hexapla contains all six of the original English-language New Testaments. They are: Wyclif (1380), Tyndale (1534), Cranmer (1539), Geneva (1557), Rheims (1582), and the King James (1611). It is now hard to find and is available only as a print-on-demand edition.

Not surprisingly, all six original translations into English are almost word-for-word identical, and each is consistent regarding the trinity of God and the use of the terms "Holy Spirit" and "Holy Ghost". Recall, the Holy Spirit means God as a spirit, the Spirit of God (the "Spirit"). The Spirit is comprised of the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and, all direct references to the Holy Ghost mean the Father's spirit (truth), also called the Spirit of Truth. In fact, the Holy Ghost is what raised Jesus from the dead and shall save whoever is born again of the Spirit from the dead.

Thus, the reliability of the King James New Testament as the standard for the written Word of God cannot be successfully challenged when five (5) other writings are virtually identical. Whereas the "versions" that changed the King James vary widely and eliminate the direct references to the Spirit of Truth (Holy Ghost), as mentioned previously.

The King James Bible is THE Bible since 1611.

The King James Bible has been in the public domain (free for everyone) since it was first published in 1611. It was written at the order of King James to eliminate the various versions of the Word of God because those other manuscripts corrupted the Word. The King James New Testament is reconcilable using only the words written it. The importance of that fact cannot be overstated.

Reconciliation is ONLY by and through the Word of God in Christ Jesus.

  • And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.
  • Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. Hebrews 2:17.

Unfortunately, ALL other "versions" of the Bible that exist today as derivations of the King James New Testament cannot be reconciled by the words written in them. Those "versions" (derivation) are wrong. Consequently, ALL of the modern versions have corrupted the Word of God. Teaching based on a corrupt Word is weak and always misleading. Comparing the King James New Testament to any of the other so-called "versions" is reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

  • All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16.

The Lord's Porter (Saved.Church) does not corrupt the Word of God as many do.

  • For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:17.

In fact, the official introduction to the King James Bible (provided below) refers to the other versions of the time as "vulgar". An 1828 Webster's definition of vulgar is "rustic; rude; low; unrefined; as vulgar minds; vulgar manners...". Clearly, the other versions are NOT the best sources for understanding the Word. We are reconciled to God the Father through His Word, not our own versions of it.

Beware: changing the Word is dangerous, and many famous preachers who use a modern "version" are paid to endorse them because they value money over the purity of God's Word.

Saved.Church proved the King James New Testament IS the only New Testament that is reconcilable on its words alone. All other so-called versions are not. The other versions of our day are rustic, unrefined, rude, low, "vulgar" (archaic).

Instruction in righteousness: The King James Bible is the true Word of God, whereas other so-called "versions" of the bible are not.

Children of God study and believe the Bible.

The Words says:

Study to shew thyself approved unto God,

a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,

rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15.

Yes. Since it was written in 1611, the King James Bible (the "Bible") is the foundation for all the later "versions" of the Bible, as mentioned previously. All of the versions are "derivative works" (a copyright law term) written by others who changed the Word to create a new "version."

In copyright law, a "derivative work" is a work of authorship that is derived from a previous work. The derivative work cannot be distributed or sold unless the previous work from which it was derived is in the public domain, such as the King James Bible, or the author/owner of the copyright to the previous work grants permission. That's also why we see so many "versions" get "updated" over time. It's an opportunity to sell another book because your edition is outdated. The King James Bible is never outdated.

(Note: The Bible must be timeless, meaning the scriptures must consistently present God's identity throughout, covering the past, present, and future of human history even though He reveals Himself differently as history progresses. This is where the context of the scriptures is important. Please use the King James Bible. If all believers did that, we would all be in one mind and one accord, and great revival would occur.

Beware: The attached document (bottom of this page) briefly lists the versions that changed the Word of God.

No. "Holy Spirit" can mean the Father, the Word, the Holy Ghost, and any combination of the three. The Holy Ghost means the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth. Changing the Holy Ghost to the Holy Spirit causes confusion.

Reproof: If the versions can change “Holy Ghost” to “Holy Spirit” as if they were interchangeable, what about changing the one occurrence of “Holy Spirit” and the three instances of "holy Spirit" to “Holy Ghost”? If we made those four changes, the Word would change significantly because the context of the above verses would incorrectly limit the Spirit only to the context of the Holy Ghost (the Spirit of Truth).

Result: Confusion results from changing the Holy Ghost to the Holy Spirit.

  • For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:33.

Changing the Word of God corrupts it, causing confusion and quenching of the Spirit.

  • Quench not the Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:19.

Webster's 1828 dictionary defines "Quench" as: "1. To extinguish; to put out; as, to quench flame. 2. To still; to quiet; to repress; as, to quench a passion or emotion.

3. To allay or extinguish; as, to quench thirst. 4. To destroy. 5. To check; to stifle; as, to quench the Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:19."

Yes. We know that the Word of God is God (John 1:1); and the Word of God was placed in Jesus the man from His conception as a baby human (John 1:14). We also know the Word of God is why Jesus is Emmanuel, meaning "God with us" (Matthew 1:23). When Jesus said:

  • Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:29.

He was not intending there should be multiple versions of Himself for us to learn about. The modern "versions" dull the Word.

  • For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrew 4:12.

Reproof: Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He also said why call me good (Matthew 19:17,  Luke 18:19, and Mark 10:18), so we know He was not talking about His flesh, but His spirit, the Word of God in Him. When He said,

  • Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13-14.

He was not referring to any other path other than the Word of God! No doubt, the modern "versions" of the Bible are most assuredly part of a broader path that leads to destruction, which He said not to take. Again, why is it ever a good idea to change the Word of God to suit ourselves, as if we can somehow improve upon God's Word by changing it from the original? The notion is stupid.

Modern versions cannot be reconciled. They are unreliable.

Changing the Father's Word is a direct assault on Him, but most people don't care as long as they like something about "their version", as if they are the best decision-makers. Nobody can justify changing the Word of God for any reason, even if we prefer the changes.

Yes. The King James Bible is the Bible. All other English language "versions" have changed the Word of God. How can "let's change the Word of God" ever be a good idea when the Word is God? Is the author unsatisfied with who Jesus is and decided to change Him? Think of where we might be if we all had the exact same Bible and none other existed. Likewise, think of each of us having our own "version" of the Bible that suits us, but they all differ.

So what happened? How did it happen? How did, for example, the specific term Holy Ghost, which referred to the Father's spirit (truth), get replaced and weakened by the catchall general term Holy Spirit which means God generally? What does the Bible say about this?

The Word says the love of money is the root of all evil.

  • For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10.

Changing the Word of God, by definition, must grow from the root of all evil because the Word is God, and man's modification of it, is, by definition, evil. People (and publishers) who love money changed the Bible to sell books and cash in on religion by appeasing many with a broad path.

Accordingly, many may miss their calling from God because the "version" of the Bible they follow prevents them from knowing the Holy Ghost (Spirit of Truth). The Holy Ghost (Spirit of Truth) is the means by which we communicate with the Father directly and discover His will for each of us personally and individually.

  • Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38.

Today, we are missing the signs and wonders, diverse miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost because many people have no idea who or what the Holy Ghost is.

  • Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? Hebrews 2:2-4.

The enemy knows that if it can hide the Spirit of God from some people, then some will never find their true calling to share the gospel, and others will be lost as a result. Think of it this way:

  • But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.

Holy Spirit > Holy Ghost = Spirit of Truth

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: Romans 8:16.

This means we are born again as evidenced by the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) bearing witness with our spirit (truth) in us that we are the children of the Father (God).

Yes. Using what you know now, compare your version to the King James New Testament by looking for the use of Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, holy Spirit, and Spirit. We know the Spirit (of God) is most certainly holy ("Holy"). Many of the most popular versions are listed by acronym and identified in the key at the bottom.

Also notice the oddities in the key. Oddly, there is an NIV and a NIVUK. Does that mean the people in the UK have a different NIV than America, when proper English came from the English? Publishers change the Word for money. Please do not forget that fact.

  • For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10.)

(The examples we provide on this site are definitely NOT the only examples of how the "versions" have corrupted the Word.)

Correct:

  • ...If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) King James Bible, John 7:37-39.

Note: The use of Spirit in the first instance of the verses above refers to the Word of God as the Spirit. The Spirit is available instantly for us to partake of (drink) through the Word of God and shall flow from us if we believe in Him, Jesus the Word. The Spirit isn't postponed, or nobody could be born again in their lifetime on earth. We are born again by (according to) the Word of God.

  • (But this spake he [Jesus] of the Spirit [the Word as the statement of the Father's will], which they that believe on him [Jesus-the Word] should receive: for the Holy Ghost [Spirit of Truth] was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified [raised from the dead].) King James Bible, John 7:39, (interlineated for clarity).

______________________

EVERY time the King James Bible uses Holy Ghost it gives the proper context. To replace the Holy Ghost changes the context, corrupts the Word, prevents learning of Him, and separates man from the Father. See for yourself. I'll do a few to point out the problems.

Correct:

  • (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) King James Bible, John 7:39.

AMP (confusing):

  • But He was speaking of the [Holy] Spirit, whom those who believed in Him [as Savior] were to receive afterward. The Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).

[The bracketed language is in the Amplified Bible (AMP) Copyright © 2015 by The Lockman Foundation, La Habra, CA 90631. All rights reserved.]

The obvious problem: Is the [Holy] Spirit the Holy Ghost, and is the second use of the word Spirit "unholy"? What does afterward mean? After what?

ESV (confusing):

  • Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

English Standard Version (ESV) Copyright ©2001 by Crossway Bibles.

The obvious problem: Was the Spirit given or not? The ESV suggests the Spirit was not yet given, but it had been given as the Word of God.

NKJV (confusing):

  • But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

New King James Version (NKJV) Scripture taken from the New King James Version®. Copyright © 1982 by Thomas Nelson.

The obvious problem: Is the first use of "Spirit" holy or not? Is it the same "holiness" as the Holy Spirit? Can Holy Spirit also mean the Word or the Father? If not, why replace the Holy Ghost with the Holy Spirit, knowing the change is unnecessary and may cause confusion?

Comment: The for-profit company Thomas Nelson Publishers owns the copyright and earns a profit, selling scriptures that are different from the original King James Bible which is free and always has been.

AMPC (confusing):

  • But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. For the [Holy] Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).

Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC) Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation.

The obvious problem: If the [Holy] Spirit can be the Word, the Holy Ghost, and/or the Father and it isn't the first use of Spirit, is the first use "unholy," or can it be the Holy Ghost which we know had not been given? If [Holy] Spirit means Holy Ghost, why change it? Comment: The AMPC is a copyrighted work a publisher owns. They alone made six different versions of the Bible!

NIV (confusing):

  • By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

New International Version (NIV) of the Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright ©1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® All rights reserved worldwide.

The obvious problem: The Spirit is given the moment we believe. That Spirit (the Word) leads us to repentance and becoming born again, saved.

Comment: The NIV is blasphemous because it says we don't get the Spirit until later, whenever that is, but the living water is in us the moment we drink (partake of the Word), and it flows from us for others to drink the moment we believe.

  • And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Matthew 10:42.

ASV (confusing):

  • But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believed on him were to receive: for the Spirit was not yet given; because Jesus was not yet glorified.

The obvious problem: The ASV suggests the Spirit was not yet given, but it had been given as the Word of God.

DARBY (confusing):

  • But this he said concerning the Spirit, which they that believed on him were about to receive; for [the] Spirit was not yet, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.

The obvious problem: Was the Spirit available or not? The DARBY version creates confusion. The Spirit was given as the Word of God.
