2 Corinthians 2:17.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17.
Yes. For example, any church institution in our communities at large that uses a book they call a Bible but has removed the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth, has opened the door to an inability to understand, an inadequate understanding, or a misunderstanding (the spirit of error). Neither is the friend of the church and all inhibit growth.
Many books purporting to be the Bible err.
For example, the English Standard Version (ESV) is a version of the English language Bible. The author of the ESV changed the King James Bible (KJB) to create the ESV. Never forget, the KJB is the basis for all the 60+ watered-down versions that came after it. Each of those "versions" changed the wording of the KJB to please man, rather than God.
To easily see the error, we must start with the background understanding that the KJB and the ESV agree on. From there, you will see their departure from the truth, and their actions are either ignorant of the truth or hide it.
Both the KJB and ESV agree on all of the following points, even though they may present them differently.
1. God is a Spirit and mankind is flesh.
2. If we believe God is the Holy One, all of Him must be Holy. Thus, God is the Holy Spirit. Now, consider:
3. The Word partially comprises God, and thus at least partially comprises the Holy Spirit.
4. Jesus knew that a part of Him was God.
5. Jesus was both the Son of God and the Son of man. In fact, Jesus referred to Himself as both the Son of man and the Son of God! Jesus also said:
6. Thus, there must be a good part and a not-so-good part. The Son of man is of the flesh and perishable, and the Son of God is the Holy Spirit and eternal.
Obviously, for Jesus to see Satan fall from heaven at a time before He was born means that He must have known He is the Word of God as the Son (offspring) of God.
Whoever overcomes the world does so believing Jesus is the Son of God, the WORD!
_______
NOW, this is where the "versions" of the King James Bible New Testament are blind. Please read and carefully compare the King James Bible (KJB) and the English Standard Version (ESV).
From the King James Bible (KJB), :
From the English Standard Version (ESV), 1 John 5:5-8.
The ESV removed the witness, testimony, and record of God in heaven from the Holy Scriptures, the Word. Because the God part of Jesus IS the Word of God, and part of the Word has been cut out, basically part of Jesus has been removed.
In addition, knowing mankind continues to drift further from God, including some of the churches we see today, the danger of removing the Holy Ghost from the conversation could lead to blasphemy of the Holy Ghost, which is something we do not speak of because only God the Father knows where that line is.
The solution? Repent, and return to our first love. The Word IS our first love!
Proof: "The English Hexapla" of the New Testament was originally published by Samuel Bagster and Son, England, in 1841. The English Hexapla contains all six of the original English-language New Testaments. They are: Wyclif (1380), Tyndale (1534), Cranmer (1539), Geneva (1557), Rheims (1582), and the King James (1611). 1 John 5:7, in all six of those earliest English translations, AGREE!
The Father, the Father's Word, and the Holy Ghost bear witness, record, and testify in heaven!
Yes.
From John 7:37-39 of the King James Bible (KJB):
The reference to the Spirit in the passage above is the Holy Spirit, of course. More specifically, it is the Word of God, part of the Holy Spirit, which we get by believing in Jesus, the Word of God. The Holy Ghost was given to indwell man after Jesus went to heaven.
Now, compare:
Matthew 12:18, from the English Standard Version (ESV):
"Rivers of Living Water"
The ESV says man does not receive the Spirit in any capacity until after Jesus went to heaven. However, the King James New Testament says otherwise!
The KJB says that at all times, past and present, we receive the Spirit through belief in the Word of God, and we receive the Holy Ghost (also the Spirit) after His resurrection. We know that the Word and the Holy Ghost are, individually and collectively, the Holy Spirit. The ESV is in error, knowing the Word is God (John 1:1) and the spirit/Spirit of all who are the sons of God, starting with Jesus the Christ!
Reproof from the King James Bible New Testament and ESV New Testament:
With the Gospel of Salvation at the core of the Christian Church, we must then live as part of the body of Christ, doing the works and miracles He did. This will only happen with the Spirit Jesus had, the Holy Spirit. More specifically, if we learn of Him as He said we should do, we then know the Word of God and the Holy Ghost (Spirit of Truth) bearing witness to it, for the purpose of carrying out the will of God in His good works is the Way, Truth, and the Life as He said.
We must not impugn any church preaching the Gospel of Salvation, but look to strengthen it, making its fire hotter. The only way to do that is with the Word of God (the Way), the Holy Ghost (the Truth), according to the Father (the Life). Yes, they are all the Holy Spirit, but isn't it nicer to know who is who and what is what?
For example: God spoke the universe into existence by His Word as His servant and the WAY He creates everything; the Holy Ghost bears witness to His Word as the creative power of the TRUTH in what He says; everything according to the will of the Father Himself, the LIFE genesis of everything.
In the above example, if you don't already know that God, as a whole and each aspect of Him, is the Holy Spirit; and the Holy Spirit is given to us as His Word, the Holy Ghost as His truth, by and according the Father whom we know according to His will, you'll miss out. God is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit revealed on earth to us is the Father, the Word of the Father, and the truth of the Father, the Spirit of Truth (the Holy Ghost).
Proof: Remember, on earth today, God has revealed only three aspects of Himself: the Holy Spirit (the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost). The Bible speaks of seven (7) Spirits of God, that's 7 aspects of the Holy Spirit!
If we don't want to know the Holy Ghost as one of the three He gave us, how then can we say we want to know God or the other 4 He has yet to reveal according to His will?
Embrace a deeper understanding of the Word, and encourage the teachers within to teach and reach many who desire it.
Think of it this way: the teacher called of God hungers to share that which will help the church grow, despite some church leaders who resist that teacher as an enemy to their empire. EVERY Christian church should consider establishing or permitting a church-approved Bible study of the King James New Testament and, in return, God will bless that church mightily!
Never forget, the Word is the aspect of God (the Holy Spirit) that the Father uses to speak to mankind. The Holy Ghost is the aspect of God (the Holy Spirit) the Father uses to communicate directly with us individually as our father. Knowing and doing the father's will is how we come to know Him as our father, Father personally.
Let's not hide the Spirit of Truth (the Holy Ghost)!
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
1 Corinthians 14:33.
No. The modern "versions" are woke and improperly changed the "Holy Ghost" to "Holy Spirit", but changing the Word of God is never a good idea. The proof is here on this site, Saved.Church.
God is the Word, and the Word says there will be teachers in the Church.
The teachers must teach, but not all people claiming to be teachers teach the proper foundations found only in the King James Bible as they should. Thus, not all teachers teach. The author of Saved.Church is a God-called teacher of the Word. He uses the King James Bible because he personally proved that it is the only New Testament that can be perfectly reconciled using only its own words. Therefore, it is the best way to learn of Him, Jesus, the Christ, as the Son of God.
1 Peter 2:8.
The modern books called "versions" of the bible (not the King James Bible) have changed the "persona" of the Holy Ghost (the Father's spirit of truth), to the more gender neutral term Holy Spirit, thereby corrupting the Father's Word, causing confusion, and misleading others.
Yes. Ask anyone (including your pastor) why the "versions" of the Bible changed Holy Ghost to Holy Spirit and many will say because the King James is too hard, or they always mean the same thing when they don't. They do not always mean the same thing, and the scriptures of the New Testament prove it.
How did it happen?
God has an enemy in this world. The enemy does its works in and through mankind. When the later versions renamed the Holy Ghost to Holy Spirit they watered down the larger meaning of Holy Spirit that was supposed to mean all of God. The change also expanded the limited meaning of the Holy Ghost, meaning the Spirit of Truth-only the Father's spirit (truth). In so doing, they corrupted the Word of God and made it harder to understand, thereby causing confusion in the church. God (the Word) CANNOT be a source of confusion.
Man is the author of confusion by corrupting the Word of God.
The authors (and publishers) who changed from the Holy Ghost to the Holy Spirit did so because they love money and the worldly power that comes with it.
Changing the Word of God is evil, because the Word is God!
For clarity, we know that THE one Spirit the Bible speaks of is THE Holy Spirit, meaning God, because God is a Spirit and only God is Holy. We also know the Father's spirit (lowercase "s" intended) is the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth. The Holy Ghost (Spirit of Truth) is a specific persona of God, and the Holy Spirit means all of Him.
Romans 14:13.
For example, any book titled “New King James Version” (above) is a copyrighted work derived from the original King James Bible (the Bible), which has been in the public domain and free of charge since 1611. Like the “New King James Version”, the "versions" of the bible are copyrightable works of authorship owned by a publisher. Most titles are federally registered brands (trademarks) associated with the sale of books the trademark owner calls a "bible."
Other than the King James Bible, all books claiming to be a version of the bible, including the book titled "New King James Version," improperly changed "Holy Ghost" to "Holy Spirit" and separated the individual from God. EVERY book that removed the term Holy Ghost is not reconcilable by what is written in it. They are simply not the Bible. Thus, the "New King James Version" is "vulgar" (archaic) by King James's standards; see pages 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, 16, and 17 of the Introduction to the King James Bible (below).
No doubt, changing the King James Bible to create a "version" of it by replacing the Holy Ghost with the term Holy Spirit in the New Testament, among many other changes, corrupts the Word of God, but the publishers may make a lot of money.
The original King James Bible is the Word of God. It is reconcilable!
We proved it before we launched this site and let you reprove it by giving you the foundational basics of the Word.
For example, even the book being sold as the "New King James Version" changed the Word of God. The publisher of the New King James Version is HarperCollins, a for-profit company. HarperCollins changed the Holy Ghost to Holy Spirit, among other foolish changes made for money.
Now, the publisher tries to fool people by trading off the name King James. In fact, they own a federal trademark registration to trade off the name of the original King James Bible, which has been in the public domain since 1611. By definition and law, trademark registrations protect brands for goods sold in commerce. However, the book associated with the New King James Version trademarks cannot be the King James Bible or the trademark couldn't be registered. That's trademark law!
The "New King James Version" is a brand for a book that changed the Word of God and called it a bible to sell and make money and nothing more.
