"Christian" is a made-up word.
"...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 11:26.
Jesus always used the word "disciple" for His followers who believed in Him (and the Word which He is).
...If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 8:31.
We, the body of Christ alive today, must set aside our pride and haughtiness in religion and be the ambassadors FOR CHRIST-the Word of God.
God is the Word, and the Word is God. The King James New Testament is the ONLY New Testament that is reconcilable in its words alone. We know that the Word was in Jesus from conception and the Word is what made Him God and the Messiah.
The verse ends with "in Him", the Word of God, so why would anyone choose a "version" of the bible that is not the best version of God (the Word)? Stated another way, why would anyone choose a so-called version of the Bible that cannot be reconciled? Doing so prevents knowing Jesus as the Word. The devil knows that, and the church must too. The only reason other books were published to change the Word of God was to please men and let them cash in on the church religion.
As the enemy roams this earth and drives a human culture into visible decay; for example, the madness of gender reassignment in children, men in women's sports, social media folly and personal attacks, and basically calling that which is good evil and that which is evil something good, the church has not been immune.
The ONE reason for all of it is the removal of the pure Word from our lives. Those things mentioned above were nowhere to be found only a few decades ago, but now they are in the church as well.
We know a person must be "born again" to enter the kingdom of God and live forever in heaven. Being "born again" means the Spirit of God dwells in you. The spirit of Christ Jesus is the Word and the Word is God. Thus, knowing who He is will not suffice. Jesus (the Word) must know YOU to be saved.
Yes. Sadly, many claiming to be saved will be rejected by Jesus because He never knew them.
How can this be if they did many works in the "name of Jesus"?
Answer: The name of Jesus is powerful in itself, and man's assessment of his own works is not binding on God.
As to authenticity, Jesus knows what the Word is and is not because it lives in Him. He knows who wants it and who doesn't.
God's Word controls, and God's will (His works) are the measuring stick.
Jesus will never reject those who seek the truth of the Word and do it.
Jesus the Word must know you to be saved, meaning the Spirit of Christ, the Word of God, must dwell in the saved person. Thus, for us to live forever in Him, we want the same Word He has because He is the Son of God because of the Spirit, and more specifically, the Word of God, yet man has the gall to change the Word to suit himself.
Yes. God IS the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit IS the Father, the Father's Word, and the Holy Ghost; and God is love. His Word IS our first love!
The King James Bible is the ONLY one that can be reconciled using only its own words. ALL other "versions" depart from (i.e., changed) the pure Word and cannot be reconciled using only the words in them; and this is a departure from our first love.
The church that left the pure Word has left its first love for another version that pleases it more, and it must repent and return to it.
God will not be mocked by people who change His Word to suit themselves.
There is no excuse for blindly following the waywardness of another.
...who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:17-19.
Yes, count on it and be of good cheer.
Many will be offended by the Word because of the persecution it will bring from the world.
Jesus and the Word have overcome the world, so be of good cheer.
(Note: The peace Jesus speaks of is not for the world. It is for us, His followers- the disciples.)
Know it isn't them; it is the enemy working in them.
Many were of the enemy before becoming born again.
When we became born again of the Spirit, we came out from among the lost who will die in their sins.
We must warn them to repent and be saved.
