Our inner person is renewed daily, our bodies decay daily.

For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:...

Romans 7:22

...but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

2 Corinthians 4:16.

...according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;...

Ephesians 3:16.

The inner or inward man refers to the inside of the person where truth, as they know it, lives. Thus, many people avoid the Word of God based on the truth "as they know it". The obvious problem is that the truth one possesses " as they know it" may not be the truth from God. This is always the case where a person believes in the truth "as they know it," but their truth contradicts the Word of God.

  • In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:1-2.
  • But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,  the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  John 1:13-14.

Here again, changing the original scriptures of the King James Bible is not only ill-advised, but anti-Christ because the Word as the inner (inward) man of Jesus is what makes Jesus the Christ.

  • Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:13.

This website holds fast to the sound Word(s) that are in Christ Jesus, His inner (inward) man, infrequently called the "bowels" (innards) of Jesus.

Our inner (inward) man is born again (renewed) or not. There is no third possibility.

Considering the King James New Testament of the Bible, many people will claim their salvation by a few verses and reject the remainder of the Word that gives the context of that very salvation in accordance with the will of God. Thus, the "truth as we know it" must align with the Word of God.

  • To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19.
  • For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:17.

Therefore, anyone and everyone claiming to be born again of the Spirit (saved) believes the Word of God and has faith in it as absolute truth because it gives us the power to become the sons of God.

  • But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6.

Recall, the death of Jesus on the cross and believe in Him as the Word of God is what washes the sin from us, and yet repentance from sin (not wanting it anymore) brings about the renewing by the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth, for salvation because it bears witness to the Word we have in our inner man.

  • Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5.

Simply stated, the inward or inner man of the person born again unto eternal life is renewed by the Word itself, the same inner (inward) man of Jesus Himself, while the inner man of the person who is not born again by the Word and repentance remains unrenewed despite any claim to salvation. See the discussion of the Spirit of Truth in the context of the Holy Spirit, God as a whole: the Father, His Word, and His Spirit of Truth (Holy Ghost) that raises us from the dead when we die.
